Fine circular scratches from washing and drying. They hide in the shade and show off in direct sun.
Scratches that sit in the clear coat can often be polished out. Deeper ones may only be reduced.
Fading and oxidation flatten the shine. Polishing can bring back depth and gloss.
Correct first, then add ceramic coating or paint protection film over clean paint, not over flaws.

Paint correction is machine polishing that levels the top of your clear coat to remove swirl marks and light scratches, so the finish looks glossier and more even. It does not add a layer, and it cannot fix damage that goes all the way through the clear coat.
Paint correction at Enhanced Automotive starts at $389 for a coupe or sedan, $429 for an SUV, truck or van, and $529 for a cargo van. The final price depends on the condition of your paint, and we confirm it in writing after we look at the car.
No. Swirl marks and light scratches that sit in the clear coat can often be polished out. A scratch you can catch with a fingernail usually goes deeper, and it may only be reduced rather than removed. Damage through the clear coat needs paint, not polish.
Usually yes. A coating or film seals in whatever is on the paint, so swirls stay locked under it. Correcting first means the protection goes over clean paint. We also do ceramic coating and paint protection film at the same shop.
