The Model 3 is the cheapest Tesla to wrap, and the Cybertruck is the most expensive. The gap is $600 at the bottom of the range and $800 at the top. This is the Tesla chapter of our car wrap cost guide.

How much does a Tesla wrap cost in San Diego?
A full Tesla wrap at Enhanced Automotive costs $2,800 to $4,200, depending on the model. A Model 3 runs $2,800 to $3,400. A Model Y, Model S or Model X runs $3,200 to $3,800. A Cybertruck runs $3,400 to $4,200.
Half the Teslas in San Diego are white, and the other half are quietly thinking about it.
The full details on the car and the quote form are on our Tesla vinyl wrap page. Want your model's exact number? Send us your year and model and we'll price it in writing.
How much does a Model 3 wrap cost?
A full Model 3 wrap at Enhanced Automotive costs about $2,800 to $3,400, the lowest range of any Tesla we wrap. It's the smallest Tesla, so it needs the least film and the fewest install hours. We confirm the final price in writing after we look at the car.
The Model 3 is the budget pick, and it still has a screen the size of a pizza box.
How much does a Model Y wrap cost?
A full Model Y wrap at Enhanced Automotive costs about $3,200 to $3,800. A Model S or Model X runs the same range. The Model Y is larger than a Model 3, so it starts $400 higher.
The Model Y is basically a Model 3 that had a growth spurt, and the film bill grew with it.
Wrapping a Model Y in a bold color is also the fastest way to find it in a parking lot. Nobody has ever lost a pink Tesla.
How much does a Cybertruck wrap cost?
A full Cybertruck wrap at Enhanced Automotive costs about $3,400 to $4,200, the highest range of any Tesla we wrap. It's the largest vehicle on the list, so it needs the most film and the most time.
A Cybertruck has never once been described as a small project.
What changes a Tesla wrap price?
Five things move a Tesla wrap price: the model, the film and finish, how much of the car you cover, the condition of the paint, and the work around the cameras and sensors. Bigger models need more film and more hours.
| Factor | Why it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Model | A bigger model needs more film and more install hours. |
| Film and finish | The brand and finish you choose set the material cost. |
| Coverage | A roof or hood costs less than the whole car. |
| Paint condition | Peeling clear coat and old repairs can change the plan. |
| Cameras and sensors | The film has to be cut around each opening. |
Tesla owners pick a finish the way other people pick a font: slowly, and with strong opinions about gloss.
Paint that's already peeling will lift with the film, and a sensor doesn't care what color your car is.
What should you ask a shop before wrapping a Tesla?
Ask which film the shop uses, how it handles the cameras and sensors, who inspects the paint, and when you'll get the final price in writing. I'd call the camera question the best one you can ask any shop.
- Which film? Ours is 3M 2080 or Avery Dennison SW900.
- How does the shop handle the cameras and sensors?
- Who looks at the paint before the quote?
- Will the final price be in writing?
A shop that goes quiet when you say "camera" has told you what you need to know.
When you're ready, request a written quote for your Tesla and we'll go through the same four questions with you.
What do we see in the shop?
A Model Y we wrapped in Avery Dennison pink shows how a color change starts: with a car that's been looked at, not a number on a screen.

One customer, arvel loyola, wrote in a Google review on 11 January 2022, after bringing in a 2021 Tesla Y: "workmanship is consistent, on point!" That's one customer's review, not a promise for every job.

Tesla wrap cost FAQ
How much does it cost to wrap a Tesla?
At Enhanced Automotive, a full Tesla wrap runs about $2,800 to $3,400 for a Model 3 and $3,200 to $3,800 for a Model Y, Model S or Model X. A Cybertruck runs $3,400 to $4,200. We confirm the final price in writing after we look at the car.
Is a Model Y wrap more expensive than a Model 3 wrap?
Yes. A Model Y runs $3,200 to $3,800 and a Model 3 runs $2,800 to $3,400, so the Model Y starts $400 higher. The Model Y is the larger car, which means more film and more install time.
How much does a Cybertruck wrap cost?
A full Cybertruck wrap at Enhanced Automotive runs about $3,400 to $4,200. That's the highest range of any Tesla we wrap, because it's the largest vehicle and needs the most film and time.
Will a wrap affect my Tesla's cameras and sensors?
A Tesla's cameras and sensors need clear openings, so the film has to be cut around them. It's a fair question to ask any shop before you book. Call us at (619) 213-9896 with your model and year, and we'll talk it through with you.
Can a Tesla wrap be removed later?
Yes. We also remove wraps at our shop, so you're not locked into a color. We don't publish a removal price, so ask us for a quote when you're ready.
