About Our San Diego Service Area

Enhanced Automotive operates out of our shop at 5644 Kearny Mesa Rd — a central location that puts us within reach of virtually every San Diego neighborhood. Most clients are 15–35 minutes away, making drop-off and pickup straightforward for both in-person installs and same-day services. Clients coming from Del Mar, La Jolla, or Solana Beach typically take I-5 south — it's a direct run. Chula Vista and South Bay clients use I-805 north and are usually at our door in about 25 minutes without traffic. Mission Valley and Pacific Beach are under 20 minutes.

We don't run mobile operations. Every install happens at our shop, where we control the environment, the lighting, and the conditions that determine whether a job is done right. How long does a typical install take?

Window tinting is usually completed same-day. Most detailing packages are done in one day. Vinyl wraps typically run 2–5 days depending on coverage level and vehicle complexity. Full-vehicle PPF installs are usually 3–7 days. Ceramic coating takes 1–3 days including cure time. We give every client a firm timeline before work begins — no surprises.

What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

Paint protection film is a physical barrier — a clear or colored film that absorbs rock chips, road debris, and light scratches before they reach your paint. Ceramic coating is a chemical bond that repels water, UV, and contaminants, keeping your paint looking better longer with less maintenance. Many of our clients do both: PPF on high-impact areas (front bumper, hood, mirrors, rocker panels), ceramic coating over the entire vehicle. It's the most complete protection available.
